The 2017 PK-Invitational was a 16 team, 2 bracket tournament played in honor of NIKE co-founder Phil Knight's 80th birthday. Michigan State won the PK80 Invitational; defeating DePaul, UCONN, and UNC in the championship game.

McQuaid averaged 10.6 points per game during the tournament, including a 20 point performance against DePaul.
